A QRP Fox Hunt is a series of 90
minute Amateur Radio events during which low-power
(QRP) stations, or "Hounds," attempt to make
contact with specific QRP stations designated as
"The Fox." Maps of hunts can be found at www.k4oaq.com/fox. They show the location of the Hounds and Foxes, on a map for a given hunt. Some Foxes are set up such that their Pelts (QSOs) will show on the map as they are made in real time. This is a valuable real time propagation study. |
